Jefferson Green

Jefferson Green is a charming New England style ranch home with a stunning view of Damariscotta Lake from its elevated back deck, which includes ample seating for sun bathing and spotting the occasional visiting deer. Residents enjoy raised vegetable beds that provide a gardening opportunity and fresh seasonal produce, the graceful formal dining room complete with bay window, and the large kitchen perfectly suited for a cozy chat with a cup of tea or coffee. A separate wing of the house is dedicated to 6 single-occupancy bedrooms where residents can retire to enjoy the peace and privacy that is a hallmark of this small rural community. 

 

Just down the street is the Jefferson Market featuring locally-made baked goods, daily lunch and breakfast specials, and an open-air deck overlooking the Davis Stream. Field trips to the family-owned Jefferson Scoop ice cream stand and to the Jefferson Fire Station’s annual chicken barbecue are a rite of summer for Greens residents.
