Round Pond Green
Round Pond Green occupies a stately house built in the 1880s on a historic “king’s row” of Sea Captain dwellings (now Route 32). Common areas include a large traditional formal dining room that opens up onto the porch, a cozy sitting room with overstuffed couches and chairs, and a small library nook where residents can relax and read from a rotating selection of popular books and magazines. Private rooms look out on a wide meadow behind the house where residents can observe local wildlife and birdlife from their bedroom windows.
Situated in the heart of the village, residents have easy access to two churches, the town market, and the popular Granite Hall Store. Neighbors often stop by to visit with residents under the shade of our magnificent apple tree, or to share an iced tea on our long southern-style porch—known as being one of the best spots to view the town's legendary Fourth of July Parade. In summer, the community gathers weekly on our gently-sloping front lawn to listen to local musicians play, hosted by our neighbors at King Ro Market.
